Hospitality Homes provides no-cost accommodations in volunteer host homes for the families of patients being treated at Boston-area medical centers. Since its inception in 1983, Hospitality Homes has provided over 130,000 night of housing for over 11,000 families from across the country and around the world. While the idea of using a spare room to help a family in need is a simple one, the task of matching these families with appropriate hosts is more complicated. With your support, we will continue to provide more nights of housing and comfort each year.

Donations provide us with the resources to:

• Recruit, train, and support Hospitality Homes Hosts.
• Conduct in-depth phone screenings and reference checks on all potential guests.
• Perform personalized matching of each guest family with the most appropriate host.
• Serve more families by recruiting new hosts to accommodate long-term stays and guests with limited mobility.
• Continue outreach to major Boston-area medical centers.
• Develop and produce outreach and promotional materials and gather information for future outreach and training.
• Develop and implement a plan to increase our services based on the current and future needs of the health care industry.
