Room Away From Home — The Room Away From Home Program is a joint program of the social work
departments of Beth Israel Deaconess, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The program assists financially needy out-of-town patients and families who require suitable lodging for short stays in Boston while they are undergoing treatment. In collaboration with local hotels, eligible patients and families are offered appropriate accommodations at reduced rates based upon availability.
